Good luck to the A1 boys in their grand final today. Cammers just got there after a nail biter in the semis. Cammeray defending 177 managed to get the final wicket when Iggies were on 172. The boys will be up against Kirribilli Crusaders today at Gore Hill Oval. Rain may play a factor in this game, but good luck to the boys if they get on. C’mon Cammers A1 - make it two premierships in a row!

C 1 Day Great Win

In a great great win, in a thousand degree temperatures, the young C1 heroes chased down 203 runs in 33 overs against West Pymble at Forsyth on Sunday. Bunter chalked up a lazy 43 and emerging genius Aditya Maini scored 73n.o. to guide the Cammeray side home in terrible, terrible heat. Well done blokes!

New Displays at The Bridgeview

Cammeray Cricket is proud to introduce 3 new displays at The Bridgeview Hotel:

The Blackboard and historic headboard is near the Sports Bar under the Keg Cup.

The Flag is located over the kitchen near the restaurant at the back.

This Mini-bat display comes from Mr Bunt’s expansive collection near the ATM Machine Machine.

Thanks to Reno Post for helping put up the stuff.

BG 100 wickets & 1000 runs

How does he bat in those sunnies?

In his farewell game for Cammeray before he moves to the UK, Benn Glazier notched up 10000…no…1000 runs for the club and 100 wickets. C Grade was stoked to have him in his last game as he scored 34 and 3-44 (all bolwed) in their stirring outright win!

Also this week the club held its inaugural “Club Night” where Bridgeview Licensee Petra Bright wore the Cammeray colours with aplomb. A Grade suffered a close loss to North Sydney, A1 Day Grade flogged Wanderers and C1 closely lost to Lindfield.

Good start for the club

A great start for the club in the season, where both 1 day teams won their opening games whilst all 3 2 Day grades were washed away by rain.

Aditya Maini scored 37 and Yiwen Chen scored 38 in their team’s HUGE score of 210 against The Roseville Gypsies, and they won by about 100 runs (Yiwen jagged 3-18 in a big bowling performance by the captain).

A 1 day won in a thriller by 1 wicket against The Roys.

Porter scoops the awards

B grade premeirship winning captain continued his winning ways last night at the 76th Cammeray Cricket presentation night. Andy won the b grade aggregate, the David Dickinson most improved award and the prestigious John Bowtell Award. Reno Post picked up the Phil Bowen Clubman Award. A Fabulous night at the funky Cremorne hotel. Photos to follow.
