World’s Greatest Shave For A Cure
The World’s Greatest Shave for a Cure is a fundraising event for the Leukaemia Foundation where participants shave or colour their hair to raise funds for leukaemia research and patient support.
In 2003, over 50,000 participants in World’s Greatest Shave for a Cure raised more than $9.3 million. In 2004, we’re aiming for over $10 million, and 60,000 shaved or coloured heads!
Once again, I’m participating in this event. Last year I raised approximately $650 and with your help, hopefully I can raise more. Last years event saw me walking around the whole day with what could only be termed as a sideways mohawk and a Friar Tuck’s bald patch as a dare, all to raise extra funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

You’re not allowed to paint a target on that patch!
I will be shaving and possibly even colouring what’s left of my hair this Friday, March 12th to raise funds for leukaemia research and patient support. Essentially, the above photos go along way to prove that I’ll do almost anything in making myself look foolish to raise money for a worthy cause!
You can sponsor me now online, and help me contribute to the $10 million fundraising goal for 2004! Click here to sponsor me - find my Shaver Number by searching for: Mr Benn Glazier of North Sydney, NSW.
A tax deductible receipt will be sent to you once your sponsorship has been processed.
All donations accepted, anything over $2 is tax deductible. It only takes a small gold coin to get involved.
Thanks!
